IAP Meeting - Friday, April 16, 2010
A meeting of the Industrial Affiliates Program was held in the spring. Dr. Thomas Wilson of Lockheed Martin, and a UCF alumnus, gave a talk on “Performance In an Engineering Environment”. Other items on the agenda included ABET and Strategic Plan discussions as well as selected faculty research highlights. The IAP Meeting Booklet can be found here.
Industry Day 2009 - Friday, April 24
Since 2008's Industry Day was such a success, we did it again in Spring 2009. Some events for the day incuded a keynote talk on "University-Industry Collaborative Research in Green Energy: A European Perspective" presented by Prof. Ger Hurley of the National University of Ireland, selected faculty research highlights, a free luncheon and an awards ceremony. Industry Day 2008 Was a SUCCESS!
The inaugural Industry Day was held on April 14, 2008 in the Harris Engineering Center. This state-of-the-art building is the crowning facility of the engineering and computer science complex.
