Designer's Day Sessions:
Long talks: Each
has a total of 60 minutes, where 50 minutes are allocated to the
presentation itself and 10 minutes are for Q & A at the end
of the talk.
Short talks: Each has a total of 20 minutes, where 17 minutes are allocated to the presentation
itself and 3 minutes are for Q & A at the end of the talk.
Technical Research Sessions:
Long
talks: Each has a total of 25 minutes, where 20 minutes are allocated
to the presentation itself and 5 minutes are for Q & A at the end of
the talk.
Short
talks: Each has a total of 5 minutes with no Q & A. However, each
paper would have a poster at the poster session following the talk.
Posters:
Please present your poster in your designated poster session. A
typical way for poster preparation
is to make 9 or 12 slides as if these slides will be presented in power
point. Then these slides can be arranged into a single sheet with a
layout of 3*3, 3*4 or 4*3 slides with a title and author list on the top
of the poster. The
authors can use other unique ways as long as the ideas and results can be presented clearly.
