Tanner Shamrock, a Project Manager/Web Developer at Siemens Energy is looking for an excellent student that will either soon be graduating or is already graduated for an exciting Web Development / Programming position within my department. The person will most likely be participating in a large scale International project that will implement a software solution for our Global Sales, Marketing, and Service employees. The person will be able to utilize many of the most popular web development technologies (AJAX, HTML, XML, SOAP, SQL, etc). The person will most likely gain exposure to SAP environments across multiple systems. It will be an excellent opportunity for someone.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Application development testing and support
User administration and authorization
Process documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Exhibits strong problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a team or independently
Understanding of programming methodologies and of the software development lifecycle
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP and XML.
Understanding of database concepts including SQL
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies and to understand customer requirements
Demonstrated ability to work toward and meet deadlines
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Web Development and creating database driven dynamic web applications
Two years experience with Java, Visual Basic, C#.NET or other programming languages
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
Experience with advanced database concepts such as stored procedures, database design, ERD
