DAC Home

The Dynamic Animation Cube (DAC), produced by group 1 in the summer semester of 2012, is a system of light emitting diode (LED) arranged in an array of 16 x 16 x 16 to produce a cube formation that will turn on and off at predetermined times in order to simulate 3-dimensional animation. The animation will be simulated by rapidly flashing one layer at a time to give the illusion of the whole cube being lit up, and will produce varying colors from a Red, Green and Blue (RGB) LED through the use of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).
