Homework 3.

            Do not send other correspondence with the homework. Send it in a 
            separate mail, with appropriate subject line. E.g.: question about
            problem 3. 
   
1. Write a summary of 450-500 words on the Sun Wildfire prototype, base it 
on the presentation in the book (page 622).  
   -What are the key parts in the design. Put it in the context
   of the architecture types discussed in the course.
   -Put it in the context of Sun Microsystems's current commercial offerings.

2. Write a summary of 450-500 words on the SGI Origin 3000 architecture, based
on documents on the SGI website: http://www.sgi.com/origin/3000/

  -What are the key parts in the design. Put it in the context
   of the architecture types discussed in the course.  
  
3. Compare the SGI Origin with the Wildfire prototype. (about 200-300 words).

4. Pick 2 architecturally different computers from the list of top 500 
supercomputers at http://www.top500.org. Present and compare them in about 600 words.
