1. Write a 500 word review of the paper
"Stan Franklin and Art Graesser: Is it an Agent, or just a Program?: A Taxonomy
for Autonomous Agents"

2. Browse through the vision document: "Agent Technology: Computing as Interaction: A
Roadmap for Agent-Based Computing". 
   Read Section 3: "Emerging trends and critical drivers" and write a 500
word summary.  

3. Read the panel discussion about BDI systems at the ATAL-98 conference. Write
a 500 words summary.

4. Browse through the "Formal model of the Belief Desire Intention model". In a
500 words writeup: 
   (a) Give short definitions of the terms: possible worlds and branching time
   logics.
   (b) Discuss the logical specification. What do you think about it?
