Alain Cougoulic receives a DEA degree in computer science at the University of Rennes I. He prepares a Ph.D from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble. He researches in LSR (Logiciels Systèmes et Réseaux) laboratory of IMAG (Institut de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble) associated with CNET (Centre National d'Études des Télécommunications), France Télécom. His Ph.D subject is the simulation of managed objects behaviour.
