Azadeh Vosoughi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UCF. She received her B.S. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1997, her M.S. degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, in 2001, and her Ph.D. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 2006, all in Electrical Engineering. She received the NSF CAREER award in 2011 for her research on the integration of signal processing and communications for decision fusion in distributed detection systems. Prior to joining the faculty at UCF, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester.
Currently, she is serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine. She is a member of the IEEE Signal Processing, Communication, and Information Theory societies.
